We visited an exhibition which for us has a title connecting several things together:


THE DESERT IN PERU


There were wonderful acrylic pictures of peruvian artist Elsa Schauer-Villanueva exhibited who lives in Germany and has totaly dedicated to this subject. She considers the desert from a philosophical point of view as

"Symbol for infinity, silence and place to find oneself where the essentials and peace are to find".

This aphorism and her impressive pictures remind me of an experience which I had few years ago, which my perception has decisively stampped the desert as a place of the biggest emptiness and highest potential. A friend of mine called it the


INSTRUCTION OF THE DESERT


We spent the change of the year 2006/2007 in an oriental splendor tend with music and dance performance, culinary delicacy and cheerful moderation as with thousand and one night.

I have felt deep inside me and was intellectually in the royal tend on the desert before the beginning of the actual program. I went outside to the infinite wide sky with its Myriads of stars which we have only weak presentiment about. I felt the magic and the clearness and the wideness and was catched by the beauty of the moment.

It was a very deep far reaching experience. And I called SETH to me,
our lovely friend and lord of the desert. He told much, but the most important was following:

THIS NEW YEAR 2007 IS THE ESSENTIAL POINT OF ALL OF YOUR LIVED LIFE,
ALL OF YOUR EXISTENCES, YOUR WHOLE BEING.

And as I later on asked the desert what it has to say to me,
it formed in me these words:

WHAT THE DESERT HAS TO SAY TO ME


I am the emptiness that wants to be filled.
I am the beauty that wants to bloom.
I am the wisdom that wants to be lived.
I am the colour that wants to shine.
I am the legend that still wants to ask.
I am the magic of the One.
I am the horizon of hope and the portal to the new reality.
I am the expression that wants to be formed.
